Do not link to any resource of software that was once payware but has become abandonedware.
For example 'NI Kompakt'. Native Instruments still holds copyright to the program and because of similarities between Kompakt and Kontakt may be holding it from the public domain for reason of self-competition.
This is merely an 'open letter' section in this forum. Imagine the developers coming by to check up on things and getting a personal letter. I do know they get reports about certain keywords being used on websites. If their old programs pop up enough they just might get curious.
To the developers - there is a Reason that I posted ReBirth as the first thread in freeware and when I get the money will be making a purchase for Reason 6 and the Balance Interface.
