Is this site a setup or sting operation?
NO! I myself am a recovering cracked musician and do not wish to see anyone who show's a genuine concern in regards to the best way to translate their work into a legitimate realm.
I get the feeling that many of my visitors do not wish to join for the reason of possibly exposing themselves and this is a very valid concern. So I encourage you to obtain a dedicated email address and to use a proxy to mask your IP until you feel comfortable.
I have tried to obtain a steady stream of communication with IMSTA, this industry's anti-piracy group, with very little success. It seems they may be shifting their efforts into other less proactive means.
Why do I remain very much in the open, even though I encourage my members to hide behind fake email addresses and proxies?
Simply because I wish to make it known to the industry that not all of us are the same. Some of us really do want to change. This screen name as already been banned at the KVR Forums and associated as a 'warez kiddie' by those estalking weirdo's. Head on over there and take a look at my 'offending posts' and ask yourself why that topic and discussion would warrant such a decision. (Should KVR wish to extend a hand of approval and stop subconsciously promoting piracy through the practice of intolerance they can contact me either here on the boards or at thereconcilecenter@gmail.com)
